Bring all necessary materials to class each day.
- At the beginning of class, be seated and immediately have only the books needed for my class on your desk.
- Use your time wisely! When a few moments of free time arise use it to review or to get a jump-start on homework.
Homework Tips:
Give yourself a study spot and time - this means do your school work at the same time each day in the same spot. This
will help you get into a routine. If you keep your supplies in this spot, it will also help you get done faster. Also, research
shows that watching TV really is a major distraction. If you need the noise (some people actually focus better with noise),
turn on the radio-not the TV.
- Pace yourself. If you set aside time each day to work on assignments, school will be more fun, you'll learn more, and
it will be less stressful.
- When you pack your book bag at night be sure all of your schoolwork is packed.
